In order to open an account with SogoTrade, you must be a US Citizen or Resident Alien , with a valid Social Security Number. Non-US Citizens who desire to open an account with SogoTrade will need to provide a valid Taxpayer ID No. and Government issued Identification, such as a valid Passport. You must also have reached the age of majority in your state of residence (usually 18). The age of majority is when you are entitled to full legal rights as an adult.

There is a account minimum of $500 for all account types, there are also maximum yearly contribution limits for IRA accounts. Read on for more details.

An Individual Account is an investment account that is opened for one person. You can open this type of account if you have reached the age of majority (usually age 18) in your state. The age of majority is when you are entitled to full legal rights as an adult.
